Introduction to Culturally and
Linguistically Appropriate Services
Leadership Training
This on-demand training is free and open to consumers, peer specialists, veterans, family members, provider staff, and stakeholders.
Participants will learn to promote recovery and advocacy within the public mental health system, run meetings that produce results, and forge partnerships with community leaders. The complete 6-hour training is contained within the 5 individual modules identified below.
The Training includes the following topics:

1. Steps to Recovery (2 training hours)
2. Meeting Management (1 training hour)
3. Self-Advocacy (1 training hour)
4. Serving on Boards & Committees (1 training hour)
5. Legislative Advocacy (1 training hour)

At the conclusion of all modules and completion of a quiz, participants will receive a Certificate of Completion 6 training hours!
Capacitacion de Liderazgo

Esta capacitación es gratuita y está abierta a consumidores, especialistas de pares, veteranos, familiares, personal y la comunidad.
Los participantes aprenderán a promover la recuperación y la promoción dentro del sistema público de salud mental, organizarán reuniones que produzcan resultados y forjarán asociaciones con líderes en la comunidad.
La capacitacion de 6 horas se encuentra dentro de los 5 módulos abajo.
La formación incluye los siguientes temas:

1. Pasos para la recuperación (2 horas)
2. Administracion de reuniónes (1 hora)
3. Auto-Abogacia (1 hora)
4. Servir en juntas y comités (1 hora)
5. Abogacía Legislativa (1 hora)
Al finalizar todos los módulos y completar una prueba, los participantes recibirán un Certificado.
